ART & CREATIVE STAGING

So much I want to do, so little time.

Staging photos

can bring such pleasure.

Creamy hot cocoa
animal crackers,

my journal with collage cover

the white bedroom I’ve created

out of my Hollywood imagination.

I want to remember this forever!

The sunlight, the deck,

the shadows on the carpet,

the flowers in a favorite mug

the wicker bed tray as a table.

and then I take some photos

of journal sketches.

The yellow boots Suzanne

loaned me when it snowed.

My funny comments to myself

which I LOVE to re-read on a dismal day.

I try to keep myself pumped up

and happy.

And yes, I have my ever-recurring

reason to create art, or stage photos

That broken heart I was born with.

There is meaning in every teardrop,

in every sadness or broken dream,

when you believe in love.

And I do.

You can create something

 colorfully artistic.

Even make a staged photo of

fried okra and fried yellow tomatoes!

Or take one from nature.

The beauty of color and form

 in an okra blossom.

GRAPHIC DEPARTURE

GRAPHIC DEPARTURE

I feel like I’m just frittering away

my time with do-nothing art.

Like, who cares if I'm stuck

back in the 60's?

My soul doesn’t seem to mind, though.

Nor, my heart.

Even if I make all these crazy drawings

 with a free download

 called PAINTBRUSH.

Do what you love

and that will be enough.

Do you believe it?

 I do.

Here's a 1 min. video

SNOW & RUSSIAN MUSIC

A Music Video Today

I've been snowed in for a week
 can't get down the driveway.

Composing music!

Added this photo
and others

of snow and ice in my yard.

Made a little i-movie
Wind is howling!
Created Titles
Edited the timing of each slide
with the music.

The birds make me happy!
This one said, "Are you taking my photo?"
"Yes," I said,
"And I'm putting you in a movie!"
It's Another Blue Tomato Production
Please watch and listen . . .
all the way to the end
 with more
howling wind
outside this slide!

It's at the beginning
 and end
like bookends!
